We brought our Bernese puppy home almost two years ago and couldn't be happier with him. He is such a lovely dog and has grown to fit into our family perfectly. His gentle and kind personality has been amazing with our three kids, two are which only three months old. He is just amazing with them. All the neighbourhood kids just love him, and he is known as the gentle giant on the block. We are constantly stopped with walks around our pond with comments on how good looking and friendly he is. He is such a healthy happy boy and we love him so much!
Michelle was just amazing through out the entire process of choosing a puppy that was right for us and continuing to keep in touch. She is very knowledgeable and is always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have. She is always so happy to hear how our dog is doing and growing up. She really cares about the forever homes her pups go to. I would highly recommend her as a breeder for your next fur baby!

When we had to say good bye to our Berner we weren’t sure if and or when we would get another one. After a few months the house seemed empty without a four legged family member as we have had one with us for over 35 years. I started looking for another Bernese Mtn dog but found no breeders that I felt comfortable with as far as Breeding practices, raising, training, feeding etc. I stumbled across Michelle’s ad for Bernedoodles and I was curious, so I made arrangements to meet with her. Upon arrival I noticed the heated double Garage’s primary roll is all about the dogs, the puppies had a very large area with beds and blankets and toys, mom was there (beautiful Berner “Rosie”) as well a huge exercise area outside, all very clean. Lots of interaction with people and her other dogs as well. Michelle cares very much about what she does and it shows, she was willing to answer all of my questions, and I felt very comfortable with her answers. I showed my wife some pictures of the puppies, mom, and dad, we went back out and picked out our “Jasper”. Couldn’t be happier he’s healthy, smart, well- mannered and a very welcome addition to our family.

We adopted our puppy Simon in February 2022. Her puppy area is immaculate, pretty much a second house just for her puppies. All her puppies and dogs were happy, healthy and in prestine condition.
Michelle's adoption process is outstanding. Lines of communication to answer all questions were always open prior to and after adoption. Michelle provided us with a comprehensive adoption package containing articles and videos to set us up for success from the outset. In addition, she provided us with food and treats to get started and the sweetest toy and blanket for Simon. The car ride home was flawless, Simon was so content.
Once we were home and Simon began his transition, it became very evident as to how much time and effort Michelle puts into her puppies. She had already started training Simon shortly after birth using puppy culture techniques which made our take over as new puppy parents so easy. Simon is very intelligent, loving, affectionate, calm tempered, easy going, very easy to train and very healthy! We are truly grateful for all of Michelle's knowledge and effort.

Testimonial For Sun Dog Bernedoodles
Our adult son purchased his mini, black male Bernedoodle from Sun Dog Bernedoodles in March 2020. We were so impressed with his disposition, his eagerness to please and his low to noshed coat that we went on the “Covid Wait List” for a puppy. In December 2021 our standard, Our tri coloured female Bernedoodle arrived! She has proven to be well worth the wait and we understand why these dogs are in such high demand.
The care that Michelle puts into her breeding program, followed by her dedication to the Puppy Culture Program make the transition from breeder to home seamless. Potty, crate, doggie door and basic command training were easy because of Michelle’s initial efforts with the dogs. Michelle was there for us through the puppy process, provided a memory stick of resources when we picked up our puppy but more importantly, she remains available as a supportive resource!
At the eight-week vet checkups both vets commented on the puppy’s good health, their striking appearance, and calm temperament. Both dogs are our shadows and never stray even off-leash! They interact well with other dogs but more importantly they love people of all ages! They love to hike, swim in the lake, go for car rides and snuggle with us. If you are looking for a loyal, good natured, smart, allergy friendly puppy companion Sun Dog Bernedoodles will not disappoint.
