The Adorable Bernedoodle

The F1 Bernendoodle is a 50/50 cross between a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and a purebred Standard Poodle. The cross results in a dog that is genetically strong, healthier and has hybrid vigor.  By combining the two breeds, we really get the best of both worlds.  The Poodle brings incredible intelligence and a low-shedding coat, while the Bernese brings an easy going, laid back personality followed by the utmost devotion to their family.

One thing that I would like to stress is that they are not a low maintenance breed.  Their cute fluffy coat will require maintenance.  If you are up for that then they will be an awesome family dog for you.

All of our adult dogs are health checked and genetically tested for diseases that are common in their Breeds.  Test results are available by following their links under their pictures.  They have also had their hips and elbows cleared through OFA 2 years or older or Penhip (testing for dogs under 2 years of age)  animal orthopedics boards.

We also use The Puppy Culture program to ensure that your puppy receives the perfect start in life resulting in a balanced, happy puppy.

We raise these beautiful puppies as part of our family.

The Three sizes

Mini  Moyen and Standard

Size is not the only thing that makes them different.  I have experienced a lot of difference in temperament as well.   The larger the puppy the more laid back and calm they seem to be.  I breed for temperament, and find that the service, companion dogs have all been the larger standards.

All sizes have their place, and will fit into your family.  The moyen (medium size) are more active and average 35 to 60 pounds full grown.  They are fun little bundles of energy and soooo cute.  They make great family pets for people that are looking for a medium sized dog to add to their family.

The Mini's     These little ones are also amazing.  They average between 25 and 45 pounds, so make them easier to travel with and perfect for the family looking for a smaller bundle of fun.   When breeding a mini, we focus on a male that is sweet and gentle.  This is a must, as we don't want to produce a yappy high strung puppy.   We always keep in mind that the right combination of parents are bred to provide you with a puppy that is as always, health and happy.
